Counting down the days!!!!!

It has finally happened!  I got the full time position at the other job...making it my only job!!!!!!  I'm so excited!!!!!  First I will be employed with a company that offers the "stuff" I need in my life.  Second, I work with one lady and we get along.  Third, I somehow will get to spend more time with my daughter and family.
The list could go on and on!   I thank God for this chance, he really does see a means to a way!

Yesterday was strange.  I couldn't wake up to go to church, so I was woke up by the phone....mom saying a neighbor had a stroke and she was on the way to the hospital with her.   No one knows anything about the neighbor because she's that way.   No clue who her doctor is or what medications she takes, nothing.   She's 89 years old.   Pray for her.

Here we are again.....

I feel like busting into song.....here we go again on our own!!!!!   For no other reason, othan than the song is on my mind.   lol  Things are so good, God is good.  I'm amazed each day of how He is making a way for us and showing me that everything is in His time and when He wants it to be and how He wants it to happen....no matter what I think or want!   But I've come to realize that's okay.   I'll be just fine, because He is making the way and making it work!!!!!!

Stormy Day

Todays one of those days I really wish I could have stayed in bed.  Not to sleep really, just to be in bed on a stormy day.   I hope this doesn't make for a long night tonight but I'm so excited!!!!!   Pumpkin isn't feeling the best these days, I guess he's getting sick.   I really hate that for him for several reasons, one being that I'm not the best person to take care of sick people.   funny, right?  Second, is that I really depend on him and I'm sure that's not a great comfort to know I need him for every little thing and that makes it hard for him to sleep, knowing I'm home too.   Anyway.....off to all!!!!!

wow

I didn't realize it had been so long since I had updated!  Things have changed so much since the 13th!  I've got a new job and will be going to part time soon at two places, I'm so excited!!!!   This is such a new adventure and a completely different field that I've never worked in!  It's great!

The advantage is I will be able to wear scrubs....so I thought why can't I make my own scrubs???  they've got to be simple to make, right?   Anyway, in looking for the patters, I came across this lovely thing.......

O

I am so happy with my life.....my relationship with Joey, the kids are all healthy and doing well.   The normal teenage stuff is happening but I guess that's normal, isn't it?   To come to work and hear co-workers fuss about things that seem so little just makes me want to run home......my safe haven!   I never thought I of all people would be the girl that loves to be at home!   My home is so sweet and quiet....even with 4 kids, 2 dogs and 8 chickens....compared to the lives of the others I know!   Bless my little quiet place, I love you home!  I love the dirty kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, yard, chicken coop, EVERYTHING!   I would give anything to be able to stay home and make money to be able to support the house!!!!!!!!!

A Day at the Zoo

We decided to take the little three to the zoo in Montgomery.   We have an annual pass so there wasn't any expense in going, other than gas.   We were a little sad that we were not going to be able to ride the train, it's 3.00 per person to ride and that would have been 15.00 we didn't have to spare.   But, when we got to the zoo we found out we had purchased the train ride tickets when we got the annual pass!!!!!   We, well me and the kiddos, were so excited!   I'll have photos to show soon!

No I'm planning for a sweet swap!  It's the same as a cookie swap but anything sweet goes.   This is the first one I will attend.  I tried to have one myself and it was way to much work...and that says a lot considering how much I do canning!  This swap consist of 15 dozen sweet items!  15 dozen!  Thats a lot, I'm not sure about this, but it's not until Saturday so we'll see.   I may have a huge baking splurge!
